S.K.S. (Serial Killer Sound) is the new project of the plastic artist
and musician Tito Diaz (Barcelona, 1958). Along his artistic career
he's been looking for organic processes (his human hair sculptures,
"Human Beings", 1985-1988), the mutual feedback between music, sculpture
and sound through performances that make him a multimedia artist.
He uses the new technologies to show his vision of the organic matter
evolution. Another projects from this artist are: "Animals" (between
1988 and 1993, sculptures and performances made of animal bones),
"Electronic Circuits and Magnetic Fields" (1988-2000, paintings,
video and sound), "Organic Malbient" (1997, videos and musical installations)
or "Elephant Cube" (1999-2000, multimedia installation).
Musically Tito Diaz has worked with musicians such as Atau Tanaka
and Zbigniew Karkowski. He has participated in several editions
of Sonar festival. As for recordings fits to emphasize his recent
album with Karkowski "2 ZBG-TTO" (published by Eozzön). His music
is noisy ambient mixed with industrial sounds from the eighties.
In Experimentaclub'03, Tito presents his musical project S.K.S.
(Serial Killer Sound) with Luna (drums, bass and voice), Vidi (guitar)
and Tito himself (playing different instruments and his own machines
skelletor and elephant). The result is a mix of ambient-noise and
punk.
