Shantala began their work together at Buenos Aires in 1999. They use the sound like way of contecting with feelings. Shantala are: Roberto Kuczer (sitar), Guadalupe Tobarías (violin) and Vika Kleiman (tambura).
Kuczer studied clasical composition in Argentina, Venezuela and France and later he went to India for studing Ragas and sitar. Bhakti, India, Shakuntala y World Trip Tronic Dance Band (this one is a mix between electronic and etnic music) are some of the bands directed by Kuczer. Gadalupe Tobarías studied clasical music when he began playing violin but afterwards she worked with diferent kind of bands (rock, tango or world music).
