Felpudo Tos was created in 1995 by Koldo (aka Cardamomo: voice, guitar, toys, machines, in addition to writer) and Iván (aka Yambó: bass, voices, more toys and machines). But is in 1996 with the entrance of the ex-Fitzcarraldo Pilar (aka Trusca: drums, percussions and other toys and machines...) when the band really occurs to know. Their first demo-tape presents to them like a surrealistic beater of rock, halfway between the punk, the music of fair and complete works of Samuel Beckett ingested with tons of paella and vodka with lemon.
On top of a conventional base of guitar, bass and drums, crowned by crazy voices, the songs of Felpudo Tos presents excitings/irritatings sounds due to devices like awakeners, pumps of bicycle, beaters, faucets and radios...; in addition to an accordion of toy, xylophone, etc.
From 1996 the group has taken an intermittent life combining periods of activity and periods of hibernation like the present one. Their first album was published in 1988: "Tos Felpudo", edited by Subterráneo Records and recording in November of 1996. Aside from this work and several demo-tapes, it is necessary to review the appearance in Internet of their second work: "Un ejército de codos contra la punta de un buque". Without forgetting either a version of "Evelyn, A Modified Dog" (Zappa) in 1997.
