laboratorio
an audiovisual show in six steps

Laboratorio is an avant-garde audiovisual show built by Experimentaclub crew. It is based on the book-record published by El Europeo Música. An old fashioned laboratory is the headquartet where six scientist/musicians test sounds made by traditional instruments as well as diferent kind of vintage and brand new electronic instruments. The musicians establish improvisations and create music sequences over a base built from the compositions of the book-record Laboratorio. This way of working alows to create an unique concert in each live act witch became in intens feeling. The musicians also works with the show lights, video images and projections.

The show time is one hour but the show concept plays around six movements, like diferent steps of the creative process. Each one is inspired on a literary quotation extract from diferent classic books about experimentation or the idea of laboratory like a creative space.

Laboratorio crew are prestigious experimental musicians knowlege in Spain for their works in hazard and risked bands. Ajo, Javier Colis (Mil Dolores Pequeños); Jaime Munárriz, Javier Piñango (Destroy Mercedes, Druhb); Justo Bagüeste, Morgana (IPD). Their diferent musical proposals flow together toward a rich musical puzzle with different musical styles (electronics, free-rock, jazz, improvisation, pop, minimalism) and a odd instruments combination living together with a sense: theremin, analogic synth, guitars, saxes, percussions, digital effects, etc.
